Description

At the beginning of the 19th century Ukrainian embroidery does not lose its splendor and solemnity. Baroque elements of the composition are still preserved, for example, the large bouquets of flowers tied with bows. Lush mysterious multi-petalled flowers resemble carnations and peonies. The main flower of the bouquet has already been transformed by the craftswoman from a pomegranate into a multi-petal flower. It is bordered by branches of oak leaves. The red-gold pattern continues to retain its festive positive decorativeness.
