The central element of the every piece of the jewellery set (earrings and ring) is a large agate inset. The stones’ strips have the light colour: from white to pinkish-brown. Such changing of colours gives the impression of turbulent convection: when on a hot day the air over a heated surface begins to tremble. It's a great way to convey the summer weather.
The insets are framed by curved elongated silver leaves, covered with green enamel, which has a colour gradation. That emphasizes the "shimmer" of the agate.
On the sides and on the top, the leaves are decorated by the flowers with dark blue enamel.
Between the flowers and leaves there are balls, which looking like the flower buds. Vitaly Khomenko in his early works used grain technique to enhance the decorative effect often.
