Bronze sword with an ornamented handle was discovered in year 1996. It was a part of Khudlovo Hoard which also had other swords, battle axes, pins, and spirals. The sword has a two-edged blade, made in the form of willow leaf, with a rib along the longitudinal axis on both sides and a flat solid cast handle. At the point of transition to the blade there is fasteners in the form of caps-rivets. The lower part of the handle has a semi-circular cut with antennae, lowered on both sides of the rib. The ornament of the middle part of the handle has the appearance of the groups of parallel incised lines. Each group is bordered on one side by a series of arcs connected at the ends. The top of the handle is mushroom-shaped with a pointed oval cap. Ancient hoards could be related to the production or have the ritual nature of offerings to the gods.
